RAM Slot

Hi, I just made a upgrade to my motherboard and had to pull it out of the case, when i mounted it back the pc speaker gived a long continuous beep. Than i realized that is the second stick of ram, because apparently i didn't put it well in the slot, but i kinda pushed it real good. I asked a friend about this and he told me that probably i fried something on the ram because I opened the computer with it not well put. Is that true ? I ran a memtest86+ test too but it didn't give me any errors
I have a pair of mushkin hp2-8500 2gb in total and a asus p5n-t deluxe motherboard
Please help! I'm a little scared about this

If you reseated it and it works fine, then you obviously didn't fry it so everything is good and you got lucky.

You indicated you ran memtest86+ and the memory is okay! If you were able to run memtest86+, then the rest of your system is probably okay too.
