Invalid win32 application windows xp

Hello,
sir/madam
i had some of my files which were running with vlc meda player and they were running in a perfectly fine manner .But just 2 days back ...my pc was showing that i had to delete some items from my C:as it was full ...so i deleted few things from der ..and den i started d videos with vlc media player and it is cuming not a valid win32 application...bt 2 days back they were running perfectly fine ,...how to fix it ..and my pc is showing some ethernet hardware....please help me asap ..as i need to run those videos as they all r related to my mathematics project..

What extension do they have? (the three or four letter name after the filename)

Have U tried opening them with another player?
Open them with openwith or drag them to another player.
Maybe it's an association issue.
In any folder, go to Tools> folder options > and under File types see under your extension , what program is set to open them with. If not, U choose a program.
Check if U didn't deleted your codec pack.
Reinstall the VLC media player.
Run a Malwarebytes scan, just in case.

Oh, and the next time you do some cleaning, U could use an utility like CCleaner or Disk Cleaner in Windows.
If this is not it, we'll see.
