So I just updated alot on my computer and I am thinking some time after the summer of upgrading graphics card, and right now I am running a 4850 X2 what 5000 series card do you think I am going to have to go up to, too start seeing a noticable diffrence, we plugged in my friends 5850 series and wasnt any improvment frame rate wise or anything still clocking over 120 frames in Aion with either card a little better on the 4850 X2 really.

Asus M4A78T-E Mobo
Phenom II X4 945 3.0 Ghz
G. Skill DDR3 4 gigs 1600 mhz
ATI 4850 X2
Cool Master 600watt power supply

Thats my other main parts so you know what I am working with, also I think I might have to upgrade Power supply if I do this upgrade.

I don't think it'll be worth upgrading until they start making DX11 a big priority in more games. For just plain processing power, a 4850 x2 is near the top of what's out there unless you start crossfiring 5000 series.

Keep it for another year or two; upgrading is not worth the money right now. The card that IS worth replacing it with is probably a 6000 series or something else that hasn't been invented yet.

agree with capt_taco you have no need to upgrade. the 4850x2 is as good as a 5850, which id say is the best high end price/performance card you can get. the 5870 and 5970 start to get exponentially expensive for only a small gain in performance. unless you have a 2550x1600 monitor then an upgrade would be worth it.
