Urgent help with the HD 5870!!

Hello Everybody, I recently installed a HD 5870 graphics card on my new computer build. It just about squeezes into the case but when I try and slot it into the PCI slot, the Graphics card does not fit completely in, so half of the pins are in the PCI slot, and half are sort of out. Now, When I try and use my monitor, It shows the error "No Display Detected," I think this is because of this error. I think this problem is caused by the case because the plate which is on the back of the graphics card which protects the ports does not slot in propely and is quite loose. What should I do?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
