Hello,

my computer intermittently crashes to blue screen, sometimes after minutes other times hours.

It is the following spec:
windows 7 (build 7600)
i7 860
gigabyte p55a ud3 rev 1.0, BIOS F9
asus hd 5850
2gb ddr 3 1866 RAM
my ram shows as kingston pc3 10600 in x86+
but was sold as PC3 1866 DDR3 15000 1.8V Unbuffered 8-8-8-24

Can any one help? I saw somewhere, that someone had a similar problem and sorted it out by manually adjusting the timing and voltage in the bio settings, but this didnt work for me (only changing voltage and timings to 8-8-8-24, i dont know what to set the others to)

thanks

(my ram shows as kingston pc3 10600 in x86+ memory check)

As far as I am aware all drivers and software are up to date (I have downloaded and installed everything from ATI, Gigabyte, Windows Update and Intel's sites.)

Can any one help? I saw somewhere, that someone had a similar problem and sorted it out by manually adjusting the timing and voltage in the bios settings, but this didn't work for me (only changing voltage and timings to 8-8-8-24, I don't know what to set the others to (eg tRC, tRRD, tWTR... etc)

thanks
