Both are 1tb, SATA 6gb, and 7200 rpm. one has 32mb cache, the other is 64mb

What's the difference? I know why is just in the 7200 series, and the other is the 7200.12 but other than that... which should i buy?

  1. I have 2 Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 in my HPE-130f. How do I tell if they are a .11, .12, or .14 or, if they aren't any of these and what does the .## after the model number mean? They are both 7200 RPM, 64 MB cache, and 6.0Gb/s. One is listed as part # 9YN162-300 1 TB and the other as 9YN162-500 1TB
