I am looking for a GPU to go with the setup below. With alot of help in an older thead we got this setup worked out in my budget but now i need a good card to go with it. Preferably it will be able to be crossfired whenever the card gets out dated. My budget for a card is max £130. I'm looking at buying it all from ebuyer because it's the only online shop i've used before. I was looking at a HIS HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 but it's discontinued there. Any help will be really appreciated! I have all the other bits and pieces in my old tower to fill the blanks. Do you think this is a good setup to start with? It comes to £440 with vat and delivery

Any HD 5770 would be great. It doesn't have to be a specific brand.

The build is excellent. The 5770 would make it a great mid range gaming system.

Is that the best card i can get for 130?

I'm not in the UK, so I don't know the prices over there. The next best choice, assuming you want something that's future proof, is the HD 5850, and I'm sure that's well above that budget.

It probably is, especially if you are restricting yourself to ebuyer. I've found this on another site: XFX ATI 4890 @ £133
I wouldn't get this card because you're power supply won't support crossfiring it, and you are very likely to have a hard time finding another when you would need to beef up your graphics performance. Although replacing it then might not be such a terrible idea. The 4890 is only a tad better in terms of framerates.
And MadAd, you are correct, the 5850 is well out of the price range, over £200.

Ah hello Silvune, it was you who put this setup together in an older thread :) . What would you do? I'm open to ideas
