Hello,

I am putting together i guess you can call it a HTPC/ gaming rig

i have a Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 motherboard and I am having trouble finding the correct memory for it. Since it does say that the DIMM slots are 1.5v so I found some GSKILL DDR 3 1333 witch would be this model

F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM

it says its for the P55 chipset but will it work with my H55?

CPU- Intel i5 -661 3.33GHz
Motherboard- GA-H55N-USB3

I'm fairly certain most DDR3 dual channel memory defaults to 1.5v to begin with.
I have some 1600Mhz kits and had to up the voltage to 1.65v for them to run at their advertised speed otherwise they ran at 1333Mhz and 1.5v.
Someone else is welcome to correct me if i'm mistaken.

its not going to be a hardcore gaming only Overclocking monster just something i can game with...my last PC was a P4 with 1gb of ram and a 7600 AGP card

so its time for an upgrade. i just want the coolness factor of a HTPC size and ITX mobo. i have the Antec mini skeleton case and i am modding it to stuff a GTX 480 in their.

so far this memory looks like what meets my needs and ill push it a lil bit and do some mild overclocking :)
