When I try to access www.live.co.uk (or hotmail) I get redirected to
https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11...
but the display stays blank and I get !Error on Page.
I am using Internet Explorer 8.
Incidentally I can login successfully on both my laptops using Windows 7 and IE8

I've done that, makes no difference.
Run lots of anti-virus (McAfee, MS Security Essentials, Windows Defender etc), makes no difference.
Even reinstalled IE8, makes no difference.

Yes, I could do that, but I'm really trying to find out why my search for live.com got redirected to :

www.live.co.uk (or hotmail) I get redirected to
https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa [...] mai&snsc=1

I manually put in the previous redirection :
https://dub115.mail.live.com/default.aspx

and it worked perfectly as a workaround.

Not only that, but now when I enter hotmail.com I get redirected to
https://dub115.mail.live.com/default.aspx[.......]
so that seems to have cleared the problem
