In any event, exhaust air from Coolermaster's Vortex Plus continues to do some useful work by cooling adjacent motherboard components. Many motherboard makers place extensive passive heatsinks on these CPU power MOSFET's, which in turn have a parasitic relationship with the CPU heatsink for cooling airflow.

Kindly visit the following links to know more about votex'x performance as compared to other heat sinks:

Yes that is close and maybe it will fit but it would be up to you if you wanted to try. There is also this model that you can consider and a few of the features look better that the Vortec. I fits a 120mm fan which can be upgraded to a 140mm if needed and it has enough clearence to go over the tall ram heatspreaders to add extra cooling to them and the feedback is great. The hight is good as it's just under 6" with dimensions of 144mmx144mmx105mm.

Hi, my case is 7.1". Can I still install Hyper 212 Evo in it? Coz this cooler has the best performance for the price and I like it so much.
