I need help with getting a new motherboard, the one I had, a evga 680i, has recently been dying, the sata controller is messing up. So I am looking to get a new motherboard. I am looking into the 1156. I am a gamer, but I am not an overclocker or even a super high end gamer. I do want a board that is high quality, that has support for all 1156 processors, that has support for two pci-e cards, has dual networking, usb3, and sata 3 are not needed, if it has it great otherwise who cares.
I am thinking of getting either an i5 or i7 processor. So it has to be intel based. Nvidia is my choice for graphics.
In the end I need something of high quality, doesn't needed to be feature saturated, and intel/nvidia based.
