so...close to a year ago i built a pentium dual core rig, OC to 3.1 from 2.2 blahblahblah

about 4 months ago, the pc stopped booting...rather, it posts (sort of) and nothing comes up on the monitor...

ive tried....replacing the mobo, hdd, run the entire thing with minimum components (1 stick of ram), tried a new video card, replaced the psu...still....wont work

i am completely out of ideas....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

and if this is in the wrong thread, please feel free to change it...

Did you reset the CMOS to see if it will boot at stock settings? You said you tried with one stick of RAM, did you try both sticks individually? Do you have a system speaker installed so you can hear the BIOS error beeps?

ive reset the bios and this board doesnt beep, i have diagnostic LEDs. For a while the lights kept switching from one error to another, but at the moment it seems to be stuck on "MemoryDetectionTest:Testing onboardmemory size. The D-LEDwillhangif thememorymodule is damaged or not installed properly."

i have tried several sticks of ram in several configurations so im pretty sure this is not the case...
