Hi
which one of those routers is the best one for home use in a two bedroom apartment?? these ones are my choices but since i'm new to this forum and wireless i need some help

All the SOHO router/AP combo's are pretty close in performance. The linksys 54g wireless router (WRT54G)is nice as you can flash the firmware and open up all sorts of features not on their natively. But it really depends on what you want to do as to what to go with. What are you requirements, speed, features etc.. Oh, not sure what the deal is with that site you posted but it's either very old, or they are on crack. Their prices are WAY, WAY too expensive. Like not even in the same ballpark as any reasonable online vendor. Retail for that matter.

thx for replying. i have cable and want to use it just for home use. p2p and surfing the web. which brand is better?? i heard that linksys is pretty good and what about d-link? i prefer not to buy online since i'm not sure if i'll keep the product so i have to buy it from some computer store.

would this site have better prices??

Those look a little better. Best Buy has that router/AP on sale for 80 bucks plus a 10 dollar MIR. Good Ap from everything I've heard and many firmware/configuration options.

uhm.... let me check... i live in vancouver, canada. what can i say?? newegg doesn't ship to that place which i find a little disappointing.

I just now noticed the ca in the url's you've posted. Sorry about that. The prices you are looking at quite a bit different than the US sites I would frequent. Not sure if it's the currency conversion or hardware is just more expensive there. eglobalonline is located Vancouver. Have you looked at their prices? Seems about what you were looking at in your first link.

I would go for a linksys as it is owned by Cisco. And Future Shop is a reasonnble place to buy a wireless router. You may want to check their site frequently as they often have nice rebates.

In ancient times they had no statistics so they had to fall back on lies
