This is my problem. I did a clean install of Win2k. Everything went fine. But as soon as the OS loads up, I get a BSOD. Specifically, I get "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA". Well I thought this was a memory problem at first. I popped in known working memory and same problem. Then I pulled out the hdd into another system and Win2k loads up fine. So the OS and the hdd are ok. I guess this is a hardware issue but I am hoping someone has had a similar problem and can help me isolate the culprit. It's a 700 Durrie with the AOpen AK73. Once upon a time it ran Win98 and WinME fine. It got moved in a car... maybe the mobo got shook up too much? I've spent literally hundreds of hours driving with PC's in a car... never had a problem before. If anyone has any clue... please help!
