Can't format new Zenbook Prime

Last response: in Windows 8

Hey all:

I just recently purchased a Zenbook Prime that had Windows 8 installed on it. I want to format it re-install windows 8 as I like a fresh install and want all the partitions merged into one. I don't for recovery partitions and have never used one in my life. So how do I format this thing? I hear the CD key for Windows 8 is in the BIOS. I can't even boot from a USB drive because the thing boots so quickly. Any help would be awesome. Happy New Year!

Hold down Esc to get to boot menu and choose Setup. Turn off Secure Boot on the Security tab in the BIOS/UEFI. Save changes, reboot, hold down Esc and your USB drive should now show up in the boot list.
