OCZ Agility 3 disappearing

Been awhile since I last posted.

Anyways my computer is just after freezing on me, then it restarted itself but it wouldn't boot.

Went into the bios to check the boot sequence but the only options were my secondary 1tb hdd and my dvd. No sign of the agility 3.

Checked the sata cable on the ssd but it was firmly in place so tried restarting again but there was still no sign of it.

Then I tried taking the sata cable out and putting it back in again and restarted and it suddenly returns to the bios, it's working fine again but seeing as this is the second time in a few months this has happened I'm wondering what the cause of this is?

Is this a common problem with these ssds?

ocz agility 3 120gb (bought in november, haven't changed firmware)
asus p8p67 pro
i5 2500k
5870
cosair 750w

First thing to do is change the SATA cable.
Check the power connector as well for looseness.

Failure rates are high on OCZ drives.

I have same problem with a Kingston 120 Gb SATA 3 ssd and Gigabyte z68 mobo. Quietly going nuts over this, but it only happens about once a week.

Update the firmware on your SSD to version 2.22, which was released less than 2 weeks ago.

You might want to also update your motherboard BIOS to version 3207.
