Can anyone tell me what I can wrap a processor in to RMA it?
I cannot find the original plastic thing I got from Intel-I am putting it in a small plastic case, but I want to minimize the chance of it bouncing around in there.
What can I wrap it in. Do not have any non-static bags. Any things around the house work?

Unless you burned it out with high temps or voltage its not broke, and if you did it aint covered.

to answer your question ball up some newspaper.

but as stated processors don't really go bad unless you abuse them and then they are no longer covered by warranty

Use anti-static bag from motherboard or hdd, wrap in foam or bubble wrap.
