Now that I finally have the Sims 2 working on my PC I would like to ask
all of you what video card you would suggest for the game for my PC.
I have a Compaq Presario model 7110US with an AGP slot that will
support a 2X/4X AGP card. Power supply is 300 watts. I was told by
HP/Compaq support that the motherboard of my computer is
designed in such a way that the AGP slot on it can support 4x AGP card
only, nothing higher.
So I know I need to get a video card that is either a 4x or is
backwards compatible to 4X...any suggestions?
I am looking to spend around $100 US dollars, maybe a bit more. I've
been looking at video cards on Ebay, New Egg, and refurbished video
cards at Curcial.
Any suggestions? All the video cards I've had in the past have been
Nvidia chipsets. My current video card is a 64MB SDR nVIDIA GeForce2
MX with TV-Out. TV-Out is NOT necessary for me.
