I recently installed Service Patch 2 on my computer. My supervisor suggested
that I install both SpyBot and SpySweeper.
What is the advisability of installing spyware on Windows XP SP2? Anyone
have any problems with either of these programs on SP2?

Thanks.

Louise;
Those are not spyware.
Spyware are generally bad programs spying on the computer activities.
You need spyware cleaners to help keep your computer clean.

These two programs 'are not' spyware/malware. They are programs to find
spyware/malware on your system and rid your system of it. I do not use
SpySweeper, but employ SpyBot S&D and AdAware SE. I've not had any problems
using either one on my XP SP2 systems.
