I'm considering

mobo: Gigabyte-X58A-UD3R
CPU cooler: Zalman CNPS10X Quiet

I'm unsure because, according to this Zalman CNPS10X Quiet review:
http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2497

quote:
"Generally speaking, the CNPS10X Quiet will fit any modern motherboard, but requires about 70mm space from the center of the CPU above and below, back and front. "

So I need to make sure it can be installed before I decide to purchase.

Thank you in advance !

I have the CNPS 10X FLEX on a X58A UD5(general same layout). The mounting system is a bit different, but the coolers are similar in size. It fits but damn its close to blocking my first memory slot. You need to have ram without a tall heat sink.

Mine faces up since I have a top fan.
