Core i7 build problem...

Hey everyone,

Just finished building my new system yesterday, I'm using it to type this message!

My problem is, when I turn off the system, and try to turn it back on, it turns on, but turns off straight away...many times! But somehow it eventually boots and I can use it.

I even managed to overclock to 4Ghz! Well, when it decide to boot lol

What could be the problem? I spent nearly £1.6K on this, and to see it do something like that is heartbreaking!

Specs:

Intel Core i7 860

Asus P7P55D EVO mobo

Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Titanium

Powercolor ATi Radeon HD5870

Corsair XMS3 4GB ram

Corsair TX950W psu

Corsair H50 watercooling

Corsair Obsidian case

1x Blu ray reader
2x DVD RW drives

1x Seagate 1TB HDD
1x Western Digital 500GB HDD

I actually don't get it, it *SHOULD* have enough power, 950W, but I d'know...
Please help! I need this PC to replace my old Intel Q6600 build!

Thanks in advance,
Sonny

There's probably something wrong with your overclocking settings.

If you reset the BIOS to factory defaults, does it still repeat the behavior?

Yep, I've tried quite a few things, update bios, clear CMOS, even re-wire all the drives...but nothing works!

It did this before the overclock; first time I turned it on, and then every time after that...

I'm running out of ideas, I'm starting to think my only option may be to RMA or just buy a better mobo/PSU/both.
