This is my first post on this website, just signed up (yay) this boys is making history... anyways i have this case called the "aspire cruiser" and its not that big, kind of a mid tower, and my 8800gt is around 55 degrees Celsius when in idle and like 83 on load.. ive tryed everything to lower the temps on this card, including experimenting with airflow (realized more fans doesn't make better airflow lol n0ob) and i even added some thermal paste to the gpu etc, it lowered the temps a bit by like 5-7 degrees. so my question is , is that temp is normal for my gpu?

8800GT's run hot, sometimes upwords of 100C depending on the cooler. You are totally within the norm.

Repasting is the only suggestion I'd have and you already thought of that. So good job, and don't worry.
