HP MOBO Dilemma

Hello
I have an HP Pavilion DV6600 and the motherboard has gone bad. I noticed that this is a common problem and was wondering if it was worth replacing? If so is it possible to maybe put a different or nicer motherboard in, or would I run into compatibility issues?

Im pretty sure the DV6600 is a notebook correct? If so the parts for it will be a bit hard to find, fairly expensive, and probably not worth the effort of replacing unfortunately. Each manufacturer has special cases so you likely wont be able to get a nicer motherboard to mount in there.
