Recomend to update to latest firmware?

got a crucial m4 64 gb ssd and i was sondering if i should update to the latest firmware? it says on the site this may cause problems so i wonder if it is necessary to update.

If your drive is working as expected I would not update it. If there is a particular issue you are having that the update is supposed to address then I definitely would, although make 100% sure you backup all the data on the drive before updating.
