How to change flashdrivers from read only to read write

When I bring up the file from my flashdrive it tells me it is read only how can I change it to read/write.

You right click on the files, go to Properties at the bottom. then security and then click advanced and it will let you allow what you want but you must be a administrator on your account. Thats how you do it for windows 7
