Just making sure my plan is good Tags: SSD Firmware Windows 7 Storage Last response: January 20, 2012 10:18 AM in Storage Share dantheman13 January 19, 2012 7:36:36 PM i will receive my ssd tomorrow and i want to know if my plan is good and i didnt leave anything out: 1. remove old hdd and replace with new ssd 2. insert new firmware for crucial ssd and boot from cd. 3. proceed with the firmware update. 5. insert windows 7 disc and format drive and instal OS 6. install drivers i didn't miss anything did I? and is that correct that i should do the firmware update before installing windows 7? anything else i need to do?
