You didn't specify which CPU you were looking at. The rest kind of depends on your choice.
  2. Looks like an overall decent build, but I feel you can do better.

First off, for cooling, at that pricepoint for air cooling the best you can get would be

    COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065&cm_re=hyper_212%2b-_-35-103-065-_-Product

As for hard drivers you should look for either of these 3

Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS 640GB
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319&cm_re=western_digital_caviar_black-_-22-136-319-_-Product

    SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD502HJ 500GB
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152181&cm_re=samsung_f3-_-22-152-181-_-Product

    Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148395&cm_re=seagate_barracuda_500-_-22-148-395-_-Product

The F3 is the newest and fastest.

What kind of budget do you have for the monitor, and what size / resolution are you looking for?

Looking for something in 180 to 300 dollar range with a screen size of 24 to 27in. Not sure what kind of resolution i should get.
