I have an i5 3570k @ 4.3 ghz and I have my g.Skill ram set at 1600mhz.

Would there be any benefit in games if I increased the speed even more??

Nope. A few FPS at most, and that assumes that you could get it to something like 2400 (you can't without a ton of voltage and extremely loose timings)...

Not worth it. Leave it be.

What speed is your ram rated for?

There's no real benefit of overclocking your ram.

You could go a few notches higher on the cpu and get more benifit from that then overclocking your ram. There just doesn't seem to be as much benifit from overckl0cking the ram as the cpu and the video card. If your doing this for gaming then you might look into overclocking you video card some.

Running the ram at 1600 mhz is a good speed to be at and the MB is going to cooperate with it also. The 1600mhz is pretty much the standard speed that mosr people will run at and unless you buy higher rated ram then it takes a lot of experience with knowing how to set the timings and the voltages and the mhz to get all of them to work together is actually like work.
