Power went out just as I was starting windows 7, now it refuses to start

my computer refuses to start. i'm on another computer. How can I get it going?

Does the computer turn on at all , do you get the BIOS flash screen etc??

If so then turn on the computer and keep pressing the F8 key (could be F6 can remember) until you get a menu and select "Repair My Computer" then choose UK or US (or whereever u live) on the next screen, click next and select the user account that you created and then on the popup window with all the repair options choose the one that says something like "fix starup problems", give that a go.

If your computer doesn't turn on at all the power cut could have blown the PSU or any number of things.
