New Ati Radeon 5000 series compability

hi

i want to get an Ati 5000 series graphics card such as the ati radeon 5670, but i dont know if its compatible with my system pls help thx.

i have a gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H motherboard with an ati radeon hd 3200 intergrated graphics

and i have a 430 watt antec power supply

will i be able to install the new direct x cards with these

You should be 100% good to go. The HD5670 only draws 61 watts.

yes, u will be good with that card, the 5670 will consume low power and doesn't need additional power connector cable... :) 
Don't forget to disable your onboard 3200.

thanks, i only have athlon II x2 3.00mz and it draws 65watts or less , thx

thx but i thought discrete cards work along with onboard

No they usually don't. In some cases you can make a hybrid crossfire setup with the onboard card, but that requires some low end discrete cards and will not offer great power for gaming. Go for the 5670 as suggested.
