Ati Radeon 5000 series compability

hi

i want to get an Ati 5000 series graphics card such as the ati radeon 5670, but i dont know if its compatible with my system pls help thx.

i have a gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H motherboard with an ati radeon hd 3200 intergrated graphics

and i have a 430 watt antec power supply

will i be able to install the new direct x cards with these

    It has a PCI-E 16x slot so you can use the card on it.
    About DX,if you use Windows 7 or Vista SP2(with a hotfix)they use DX11 and you can't install DX11 on them since they already have it

    If you want good compatibility, don't go with ATI, especially the 5000 series. Nvidia is far better when is comes to compatibility. Just look for the equivalent Nvidia product and you will most likely be much happier with your purchase. Take it from me, I made the mistake of purchasing ATI video cards twice.
