So I checked on the local store I usually buy in, and they don't sell the Hyper 212 EVO at all; Never have, not sure if ever will.
What they do have though is a Cooler Master HYPER 412 PS and 2 Slim fans

Is this a good alternative for it? Has anyone had experience with this CPU cooler?
Thanks in advanced!

I would say that this cooler is a very good alternative to the Hyper 212 EVO as it has the very same heat pipe direct contact setup as does the EVO. The only difference that I can see is that the EVO uses full size fans and this one uses a slim style fan so it may have to run at a higher rpm to get a similar cooling power. Naturaly I think that if you want to you can switch out the fans for a full size one. But I would get it as an alternative to the Hyper EVO.
