i bought the sims medieval and it wont install on my windows xp

Does you system meet the minimum systems specs?
You have enough free space on your hard drive?
You have SP 2, or better yet, SP 3 installed?
You have DirectX 9.0c installed?
You have the latest video driver for your video card installed?

I know this was posted a while back, but for anyone looking for a solution to this....most installation problems occur because it's looking for a specific version of the .net framework. You can get this from microsoft updates. Update to latest version then try installing again.
