XP New hard drive

Hello,
Istalled new hard drive. Window XP set up does not recognize it.

Pretty solid chance you need to create a partition on it. It likely doesn't have one. Either that or it has a file system that XP doesn't recognize.

Search google for a free partition editor such as easus.
