When will we start seeing three panel displays?

Six years ago I paid as much for my display as I did for the rest of my computer when I got a 23" lcd. This was still one of the best computer purchases I have made. I want to see someone start releasing a display with removable bezels and a mounting system. I would definitely choose a display with a $50 premium if it had mounting brackets and adjustable bezels fit for adding additional monitors. If not this ideal setup how about some consumer level triple panel displays? I have seen a few multi panel displays shown at ces etc. But we need something affordable now that gpu's have evolved to take advantage. I just can't bring myself to spend the money and have to deal with 3"-4" of bezel between my displays.

How about simply a large(45"?) screen monitor with something like 3840 x 2400 resolution?

I would definitely like one of those as well. Though there is something to be said for the "surround" features.
