'm currently running mac OS X Lion and I have an .iso copy of Windows 7 that I want to extract onto an external hard drive in order to instal windows 7 on a different computer that has no operating system and no cd/dvd/br drive. How would I do this? I have toast titanium. I've tried toast and disk utility but neither of them seem to accomplish what I'm looking for. Thanks for your help!

Your best bet is to burn to DVD and find an external optical drive to connect to the other computer. Where did you get the ISO file?

You can also go here for help on how to create a bootable USB device to help as well:

Yes COL has the best plan make a bootable usb then boot the other PC off of the USB to install OS.
