I need to upgrade, but I would like to sell my current computer and use the money to build a new one. I'm not sure where the best place to sell it is, but I need to know what it's worth before I can list anywhere.

Mobo: Biostar Tforce nForce4

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Black Edition

RAM: 4GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800 @ 4-4-4-12

GPU: XFX Nvidia 8800GTS 320MB

PSU: Thermaltake PurePower 500w

Case: XCLIO A380Plus

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB

Soundcard: Creative X-Fi Xtemegamer

Heatsink: Cooler Master GenimII with 2 80mm Blue-LED fans

By the way, where would the best place to try and sell this?

Thanks,

Tony

Craigslist or Ebay are the easiest. As for what its worth, its hard to say, but figure about 30-50% of what you spent on it. Or even less than that more than likely. You could probably get $300-400 out of it pretty easily. Its like when you sell a car, a stock car is worth more than a modded car...most people buying computers really only care about the warranty:)

Hmm, that's it huh. I was hoping for at least $500, but I suppose you can't always get what you want. If that's all it's worth, I will probably just keep the case and build a new one in that, and sell the old parts individually.

Thanks,

Tony

Well don't let me dissuade you, craigslist is free:)  It is worth only what someone will pay for it. Meaning if some sucker will buy it for $700, thats what its worth lol

Ha, true. I think I'll list it on Craigslist for $700, and if no one buys it, just keep lowering the price until someone does.

Thanks for the info.
