cpu-amd athlon 2 245
xfx radeon 5770
4 gigs DDR 3 OCZ gold

i would like to upgrade to a motherboard that support's crossfireX (or w.e its called)

i was looking at these ones:

Asus M4A89GTD PRO AM3 890FX

Asus M4A79XTD EVO Socket AM3 AMD 790X

Gigabyte GA-890XA-UD3 Socket AMD3

What do you expect to gain from using CrossFireX? Are you really wanting to run another 5770 in CrossFire with your existing 5770? If so, I would lean towards the Gigabyte mobo.

I have found them to be more reliable than their Asus counterparts. I used to be a huge Asus fan, but I had a string of several bad Asus mobos. Seemed their quality control had slipped. Gigabyte on the other hand has improved over the years, in my opinion.

These are my professional/personal/geek opinions, others will argue for their brand based on their experiences and preferences. All 3 boards you picked are pretty good. To get a more objective opinion, you can cruise on over to newegg and look at the reviews for each board. Then look at the cost, the warranty, and your budget and then make a decision.

yea and IMO gigabyte mobo's just look better quality and more proffesinal
i will most likely get all this in october (15 and getting part time job)
