I have: Intel Core2 Q9550, MSI NX7600GS Video Card, WD sata disk, 4 gigabytes of DDR3 memory (4 sticks), keyboard, mouse, and a copy of Windows.

In my shopping cart at Newegg are:
LG DVD Burner Black SATA Model GH22NS50 $23.99
Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case $99.99
Antec earthwatts EA500 500W Continuous Power ATX12V v2.2 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC $69.99
Intel BOXDP45SG LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail $134.99
XIGMATEK Intel Core i7 compatible Dark Knight-S1283V 120mm Long Life Bearing CPU Cooler - Retail $44.96

Intended Use.
Overclocked compute server to run science projects for WorldCommunitGrid.org. No concern over graphics or sound.

This is a mishmash of what is available at Newegg, advice from dpaul8 and jsc

I am a bit concerned over a few items:
1) Is that MB good?
2) Does that cooler come with appropriate brackets?
3) Do I need to order a thermal paste?
4) Did I forget something(s)?
