I think I've developed the opinion that most THG forum members are overfond of newegg, and I don't know for what reason........... though I would have trouble believing because of the site itself

The point of the auction was to get a good deal. Not pay more than in the store.

Would you go to a car auction and pay more for the car than you would on the lot?

Obviously it's not that much money. Add shipping and insurance though and it seems kind of stupid.

I've bought from newegg over a dozen times without an issue. That's why I'm fond.

All tbis guy ever does is buy stuff, leave it unopened and then post here saying he's selling it on ebay. The distict lack of enthusiasm for his auctions on here should tell him something. Also add the lack of warranty. Doesn't make for an attractive deal.
