Printer will not print

Hello,
the red light keeps blinking and message is( when tryiing to print)..it is not connected..just put in new black ink and all that seems well connected..this is a first time thing, it's always worked very well...thank you..

If the red light is blinking then there is an error. Try pulling out the new cartridge and reinstalling it.

thank you, I tried that , it's not that..what about the drivers???? for windowsxp

Yes, the next step would be to reinstall the latest driver.
