DDR3 1866 (PC3 15000)
DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000)
DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000)
DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200)
DDR3 2600 (PC3 20800)

technical stuff bout DDR ram http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/167

2800MHz is technically the newest, but it yields about a 2% difference over somthing like DDR3 1333MHz, and at a massive price increase, so going for high frequency ram is not really smart

so DDR3 1333 is faster than 1600? if i get 16gbs at 1333 would it matter compared to 16gb at 1600?

You'd get identical performance, just get whatever is cheaper!

There is no real world difference between 1333mhz and whatever else they have higher.

depending on what you plan to do 16GB+ may be better than 4 or 8

if you plan to build a gaming machine i would recommend getting 8GB (2x4GB)

Whatever is cheaper, most games don't take up more than 4gb of ram because they are 32bit programs. Are you only gaming?
