Overclocking amd fx 6100

hello im new to overclocking and i know it is not just for fun people tell me. but im wanting to just overclock my cpu which is a amd fx 6100. my pc specs are: amd fx 6100 at stock settings but i want to overclock it to at least 4.0ghz, 8gb corsair ram, his 7850, 2x 120mm coolermaster fans, 1x 200mm coolermaster fan, and a coolermaster hyper 212 plus cpu heatsink, and my motherboard is a gigabyte 970a-d3. if anybody could explain it to me step by step that would be great. thanks and have a good day.

overclocking is a pain, but it looks nice in the end... all those pretty numbers and stuff

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/274820-29-black-edition-overclock-raising-multiplier-guide this will tell you all you need to know, but i'd sub out 3Dmark06 for LinX or prime95
