I recently decided to try my first build. Here is what I have so far.

Antec P183 Case
Asus P6T
6GB OCZ Gold 1600mhz
Corsair H50 push/pull
Front intake fan (added)
Western Digital Caviar Black 640Gb
Sony DVD/RW
Sony Memory Card Reader
nVidia GTX-260 Superclocked

I think that is it. Obviously I have some learning to do as far as cable management.

After countless hours of reading threads and testing I have it overclocked to 3.8ghz. I have tested it on Prime95 Large FFT's and Blended for one hour each. The maximum temp reached was 72*, from what I have read that is decent.

I am including a poor quality pic of the build in hopes that someone will point out any mistakes I may have made. If you see anything please let me know.

Hmmm, perhaps if you had better cooling things would be better. "Try a larger CPU HSF assembly" would be my suggestion... or would that bump with your case fan?

I had the Zalman 9900A in there prior to the Corsair H50. The temps were about 6c lower with the push pull H50.

I am currently building a liquid cooled 800D liquid cooled, was not a big fan of the Antec case and can't get the temps I want without going liquid.
