Settings for Corsair HX3X12G1600C9 G and ASUS P6X58D-E?

Hello!

I just got the components for my new system and was wondering what the optimal BIOS settings for the above combination would be, to get all 12GB recognized and the system running stable in Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Thanks so much!

Memory:
Corsair HX3X12G1600C9 G (12GB kit [6 x 2GB], XMS3 series, DDR3-1600)

Motherboard:
ASUS P6X58D-E

Processor:
Intel Core i7-930

Have you assembled the system? Does it POST?

You may want to get it running before you begin changing the default BIOS settings. You may also want to run memtest86+ at boot to verify that you have no RAM errors before you load an OS.

After success in POST and memtest86+, you should press the Del key at POST and confirm that XMP in enabled for the RAM.

Thanks to both of you. Enabling XMP did the trick. All 12GB recognized at 1600.
