Hi chaps, first post and a little help required please.
I've searched the forums and it appears ok to have two different RAM manufacturers on the same mobo, I'm about to upgrade to Win7 64bit and already have 2x 1gb sticks of this: OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum Revision 2 Dual Channel 800mhz. Along with the Win 7 upgrade I also ordered these: Crucial 4GB Kit (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 Memory CL6 1.8V

Now I *presume* that because they are both PC2-6400 and 800mhz they should work just fine alongside each other? I just need a touch of clarification from some more experienced users if you will, last thing I wanna do is fry the RAM slots or something!
Many Thanks

Hmm, thats quite a difference imo, you may have to fiddle your voltages manually in bios to find the sweetspot for both, I'm no voltage guru, but I would try and find some thats same rating to be safe,
hopefully a more informed member could shed a little more light on things for you though,
