Thinkpad 390E - CD drive not shown in Win Explorer - W98 Tags: Laptops Thinkpad CD Drives Explorer Last response: August 3, 2004 1:05 PM in Laptops & Notebooks Share Anonymous a b D Laptop August 3, 2004 10:56:04 AM Archived from groups: comp.sys.laptops (More info?) Hello -- Trying to tune up my daughter's laptop, I discovered that the CD drive does not show up. I want to install 98SE, but need the CD ROM to be working before I can do it. I have upgraded the bios to latest version. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this, or make the CD drive visible? Thanks for any help.
