Hi,

So basically I decided to look at my computer temps via speedfan and the following came up:

I really dont know much about temps and I was wondering if anyone could explain to me what the core 0 and 1 temps meant (are those my cpu's individual core's temps, in which case whats the difference with the cpu temps?) and if those are unusually high for idle temp.

Thanks.

Use HW monitor, speedfan doesnt appear to be reading your system properly, or you have a very interesting cooling setup.

The core 0 and core 1 temps do refer to the individual core temperatures, and are rather high, they should be in the high 30s at idle. What concerns me is that it thinks your case temp is 42C and your CPU temp is 14C, now unless your room is under 60 degrees F i doubt that either of those temperatures are right, try with different software.
