Hi there,

I want to overclock my i7 960 from 3.2ghz to 3.6ghz (or possibly 3.8ghz) but I'm not sure what voltage/other settings to use. Can I just overclock it without worrying about changing the voltage?

My mobo is an Asus p6x5d-e and my 6gb RAM is at 1600mhz.

Cheers,

Cam

PS Please just don't point me to a guide, I want someone experienced to help me. :)

they are usually written by experienced people (on here atleast)

you might be able to get away with stock voltage if you're lucky, if not a small jump in voltage

I found this quote on the internet: I'm running now @ 3.6Ghz simply by raising my BCLK from 133 to 150 and changed no other settings, been running like this for a week no prob.

Will the BCLK affect the RAM or anything? Is this BCLK setting okay?
