Would a Xigmatek S1283 have any clearance problems with my motherboard

i have a msi 785gtm-e45 and phenom 2 x2 550, i want to give it a good cooler and have been eying the xigmatek s1283 but i hear that it has some clearance issues with the RAM slots in some motherboards and i know that my msi is just a microATX so i may have this problem.

Does anyone know if i will have any problems and if i will what is another good Cooler that would work with my motherboard.

*Also would i have clearance issues with a antec p160w and the cooler?

Clearance issues will be determined by your rams height.

The S1283V is 120mm wide so half that and measure 60mm out from centre of cpu socket to 1st dimm.

Why don't you consider HSF's that can mount on AMD in two configurations.

Just measured and unfortunately not enough clearance my first slot is 55mm away from the center. Do you have any good cooler suggestions that would fit?

5mm dimm intrusion is very good btw the average is about 10mm.The only thing that would clarify the fit is the coolers base height.Don't know what it is though.
If it's shorter then the height of your ram it wont fit chances are if your ram is only 33mm tall it will fit.
To be on the safe side i would buy a CM HYPER 212+.Still no guarantee cuz you haven't divulged what ram you have or its height.
